Sporting CP

Sporting CP, officially known as Sporting Clube de Portugal, is a Portuguese sports club based in Lisbon. Founded in 1906, it is one of the top and most successful football clubs in Portugal and is a founding member of the Primeira Liga as well as the Portuguese Football Federation. The club’s colors are green and white, and it is often referred to simply as Sporting. Sporting CP has a rich history in various sports, particularly football, and has produced numerous notable players through its youth academy, known for cultivating talent. The club’s home matches are played at the Estádio José Alvalade, which is named after one of its founders. Alongside Porto and Benfica, Sporting CP is considered one of the “Big Three” clubs in Portuguese football.
